My Dad used to tell me from time to time that I was like a cat – somehow I always landed on my feet. This was something that always made me smile. It made sense to me too since I was born in the year of the Tiger. Perhaps it could be said I have even used up a few of my nine lives.
My Mom gave me a playbill poster from a stage production of Little Mary Sunshine when I was about 10 and I loved that poster.
So, between the poster and the comparison to feline qualities there has been constant reinforcement in my life to strive to be positive, creative and always come up with a solution or at least find something positive about the situation.
Yesterday we had a pretty big challenge to deal with and as it turned out it ended up with a sort of surprising and really good outcome. (More on that later).
So, stay positive. It can take a little energy but it takes alot less energy than having a total melt-down and then having to regroup and THEN solve the problem.
