Heading Home after a totally Pawsome event at Build-a-Bear Headquarters

Build-a-Bear hosted an amazing event for moms who blog this week and I was thrilled to be there to talk to the moms about connecting with your kids.

Maxine Clark has dedicated herself and her company to giving kids a fun and safe place to play – where they don’t have to grow up quite so fast.
Buildabearville.com is an innovative and exciting place for kids to play online. Lots of big kid features but with all the safety features us grownups love.

What a fun week ahead. I’ll be at a Mom Blogger event at Build-a-Bear Headquarters talking to the Moms about connecting with your kids. Can hardly wait to catch up with the awesome team at BABW and to meet all the awesome Mom Bloggerettes who will be there.

Meanwhile, a couple of states away, our roving reporter Carissa Rogers (or so I have newly dubbed her because she will be my eyes and ears in Utah this week), will be tweeting her way through the EVO conference in Park City. Our friend @thinkmaya is scheduled to be one of the speakers there.

And then swing back over to the East Coast and Parry Aftab will be in DC helping make the Internet a safer place for our kids. (Be sure and check out her newly updated website too! http://www.aftab.com)

Lots going on this week: so follow the tweets
