Do we need a new Social Network?

First came Myspace (and we all tried to figure out what to do with this new social media) then came Facebook (and we tried to figure out how to balance our online anonymity with the requirement to put in our actual names). YouTube, Twitter, and others followed.

Now we have so many options of ways to spend our time online we could spend all day on our social networks and not actually get anything done.

It is a fairly common occurrence to hear someone say "I don't have time for Pinterest / Twitter / _____ (Insert favorite social media site here)____"

So, do we really need another one?

The short answer is YES!

Up to this point most social media sites have just been concerned with how to make money for themselves but not for the people who are actually adding the content that make the sites so compelling.

TSU

Tsu advertises itself as the first combined social network and payment platform that lets users maintain ownership of the content they post.

You will need an invite to join - you can use the short code "maryheston" to sign up.

I am giving it a try - why not join me on this platform too?

Don't have enough time for another platform? There's an app for that. Manage your time with a favorite calendar app. I use Taskery and Google calendars.

And remember the immortal words of Lao Tzu

“Time is a created thing. To say 'I don't have time,' is like saying, 'I don't want to.”
